Do The Wright Thing
Original Pitch by John Cawley – December 9, 2003

BEHIND THE STORY...
I thought the idea of a dog giving advice to a kid would be kind of funny. This was sort of a reverse Dr. Dolittle or a modern day Pinocchio. The network thought it was funny, but not the type of show they were looking for.

And now my pitch...

DO THE WRIGHT THING
A boy gets a dog for a conscience!

Skip is surrounded by temptation. When the powers that be decide he needs a conscience, they send Dante, a third class canine conscience. However, Dante discovers that Skip is not a dog, but a human boy! Now Skip Wright is saddled with a conscience that is not very bright, nor caring, and is not even human! Can they make each other look good and decide to do the right thing?
