TERRIBULLS
Original Pitch by John Cawley – September 14, 2003

BEHIND THE STORY...
My wife and I often watch the bull riding events, and she actually has done horse events. So the idea of rodeos from the animal’s point of view seemed funny. The network did not think such an idea would be successful. They may have been right… around the same time Dreamworks announced FATHER OF THE PRIDE, about the animal’s point of view of magic shows.

And now my pitch...

TERRIBULLS

An Animated Series Proposal by John Cawley

Rodeos are seen as a bunch of “bull” through the eyes of the bulls. The bull’s time is taken up with traveling from town to town, putting up with arena discomforts, handling the cowboys and general “bull” sessions. In this universe the animals are the superior race merely putting up with the silly games of Western yokel types.

The Characters
Fuzzy Slipper (Bull) – bad ass bull
Temper Mental or Dino Might (Bull) - slow on the draw
Dunk (Bull) – hustler
Tye-Di (Horse) – been around; a Greek chorus
Dan (Cowboy) - dense
Bubba (Cowboy) - denser
